The message as it is. This is the noble task the interpreters Larissa Benevides and Maria Barrera have: To transmit accurately and faithfully the content of lectures and conferences in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Simultaneous translation is the art of conveying the message from one given language into another, concurrently with its transmission. It is the virtue of transmitting the original message with speed, efficiency and accuracy. This is the way Tradus B & B has been delivering its services over the last 9 years, since its creation: conveying the message as it is.

The timing of a conference is unique and the message broadcasted there may never reach its goal if not timely conveyed, during that very moment of understanding.

As if a real channel, the interpreter translates the speaker’s words as if himself were the truthful source of that information.

It takes focus and commitment not to detract from the text, not to drag its beauty with an unintelligible string of disconnected words. The true role of the interpreter is to be the guardian of the message, delivering it to its final destination with the caution of those who carry what is most valuable to man: the word.
